CURRENT VACANCIES:

General Retail Assistant – Gardening (Full-time or Part-time)

We’re looking for a flexible individual with a keen interest in gardening, home and leisure 

to join our small team.

Day to day tasks will include providing great customer service by answering customer queries face to face and on the phone with some till work. You’ll also help to keep the garden centre clean, tidy and well stocked by processing deliveries and replenishing and creating impactful displays across any of our product ranges, but most regularly our outdoor living, gift, pets and gardening related products. Over time you’ll become involved in ordering stock too.
Please note that this role will require some heavy lifting of bags of compost or similar.
 

Working 5 days per week: usually Tuesday to Friday plus alternating Saturday or Sunday, but some flexibility will be required to cover bank holidays etc.

Benefits includes competitive rate of pay (based on experience), 29 days paid holiday, staff discount, uniform, on-site parking.

Seasonal Department Retail Assistant (Full-time or Part-time)

We’re looking for a flexible individual with a keen interest in gardening, home and leisure 

to join our small team.

Day to day tasks will include providing great customer service by answering customer queries face to face and on the phone with some till work. You’ll look after our Seasonal Department, so from Spring through to Autumn that means Garden Furniture, BBQs, lighting and decorative accessories. During the winter months you will help with the change around and maintenance of our fantastic Christmas displays, concentrating on trees and decorative lighting. Over time, and with training you’ll take on the ordering and planning of the department, using your initiative to drive sales and increase performance through impactful displays, clever buying, use of promotions and marketing.
